Yesterday Bell Canada and Telus Mobility announced that Apple’s iPhone will be available to their subscribers next month.
This also means their doing a major network upgrade and it should be completed in time for the iPhone to hit their store shelves for November just in time for Christmas. The iPhone has been available to Canadian subscribers from the rival networks Rogers AT&T and Fido who has had the joys of having the iPhone 3G monopoly for the last two years.
This will arrive just in time for Bell and Telus to compete with Rogers on the iPhone 3GS sales, previously Roger and Fido were selling the second version iPhone 3G, but with the latest 3GS releases, both Fido and Roger are sold out and back ordered in most of their local retail stores.
